Professor Duncan Bentley is the Vice-Chancellor and President of the Federation University Australia. He is leading Victoria’s premier regional university to transform lives and enhance communities through deep community engagement and sustainable economic growth. He is working with industry and government to bring digital transformation and global connections to develop employment, skills, and innovation in regional communities.
Professor Bentley completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Cape Town. He went on to complete a Master of Laws from the University of London, Master of Laws (Corporate and Commercial) and Ph.D from Bond University.
