Mohammed Ali Ashraf Fatmi

Mohammed Ali Ashraf Fatmi is a national spokesperson for the Janata Dal (United), or JD(U), and was a member of the Lok Sabha. He represented the Darbhanga constituency of Bihar for 13 years with four terms and was a member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) political party. He joined the Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) and declared to fight from Madhubani Constituency, from Bihar but withdrew his candidature next day. On 29 July 2019 Fatmi joined the JD(U). He was Minister of State in the Ministry of Human Resource Development from 2004 till 2009.

Over the years, Fatmi has been actively involved in various social and political causes, including women’s empowerment, education, and environmental conservation. He has been a vocal advocate for the rights of marginalized communities and has worked towards their upliftment.

In addition to his political contributions, Fatmi has also authored several books and research papers on issues related to Indian politics and society. He is widely respected for his insightful analysis and expertise in these areas.
